The Choose Love For Schools™ Pre-K through Grade 5 lessons include a multicultural literature component that teaches connection, belonging, and love. Through literature students learn to appreciate their own cultures as well as those of others. Engaging in children’s literature provides them opportunities to gain perspective and develop empathy, increase social-emotional development, establish a growth mindset, and foster creativity.

All lessons are both web-based and downloadable and have been recently updated to include visual support, digital worksheets, interactive online activities, and more.

CONNECTS SCHOOLS TO HOMES & COMMUNITIES

In response to the hundreds of parents and caregivers who have marveled about the changes they noticed in their children after learning Choose Love at school, we created video-based Choose Love For Home™ and Choose Love For Communities™ programs to reinforce and extend the benefits of the program into local communities.

Entire towns like Livermore, CA and Bentonville, Arkansas have adopted Choose Love throughout their schools, local businesses, town organizations and governmental departments. In 2018 Choose Love For Schools™ was endorsed by the State of New Hampshire's School Safety Preparedness Task Force and is now encouraged at schools statewide and used by the state's Department of Homeland Security.

Stand-Alone Unit Designed To Support Educators and Students with post-COVID Trauma and Learning Recovery

We know that, before any other learning can be effective, students and educators need to feel safe, a sense of belonging, cared for, and loved. These trauma-informed lessons are infused with social and emotional wellness and were specifically designed to meet educators and their students wherever they are when they return to school this year, in whatever capacity.

This PreK-12th grade stand-alone unit can serve as a precursor to the full year Choose Love For Schools™ program, and was designed to provide immediate back-to-school support in between 3 and 6 lessons, regardless of what other SEL programs might already be in place, to help get everyone back to baseline and learning as soon as possible.

Choose Love for Schools™ is a no cost, next-generation social and emotional learning (SEL) and character education program for Pre-K through 12th grades, designed to teach students, educators and staff how to choose love in any circumstance thereby creating a safer, more connected school culture.

Aligned with CASEL, Common Core and ASCA, Choose Love For Schools is also the first SEL program to fully incorporate state of the art Character Social Emotional Development (CSED) model standards, while also incorporating neuroscience and positive psychology to teach mindfulness, character, and emotional intelligence. These essential life skills and tools make students better learners, more desirable employees and happier, healthier, human beings.

I love everything about the Choose Love program! I have seen such a positive impact on our entire school culture after implementing Choose Love over the last two years. Even our youngest students are able to identify feelings and use brave breaths to calm and regulate themselves.
