Aligned with CASEL, Common Core and ASCA, Choose Love For Schools is also the first SEL program to fully incorporate state of the art Character Social Emotional Development (CSED) model standards, while also incorporating neuroscience and positive psychology to teach mindfulness, character, and emotional intelligence. These essential life skills and tools make students better learners, more desirable employees and happier, healthier, human beings.

Based on a fun, easy-to-learn foundation of 4 basic character values (the Choose Love Formula™) the Choose Love concepts and vernacular are easily shared among students and staff and create opportunities for better communication and community-building throughout the school.
The Choose Love For Schools™ Pre-K through Grade 5 lessons include a multicultural literature component that teaches diversity, social justice, and inclusion. Through literature students learn to appreciate their own cultures as well as those of others. Engaging in children’s literature provides them opportunities to gain perspective and develop empathy, increase social-emotional development, establish a growth mindset, and foster creativity.
All lessons are both web-based and downloadable and have been recently updated to include visual support, digital worksheets, interactive online activities, and more.
Designed to be ready to implement with no training required. 99% of educators say Choose Love for Schools has improved their classroom. And they love how easy it is to adapt and customize to fit their needs.
In response to the hundreds of parents and caregivers who have marveled about the changes they noticed in their children after learning Choose Love at school, we created video-based Choose Love For Home™ and Choose Love For Communities™ programs to reinforce and extend the benefits of the program into local communities.
Entire towns like Livermore, CA and Bentonville, Arkansas have adopted Choose Love throughout their schools, local businesses, town organizations and governmental departments. In 2018 Choose Love For Schools™ was endorsed by the State of New Hampshire's School Safety Preparedness Task Force and is now encouraged at schools statewide and used by the state's Department of Homeland Security.
We invite you to bring Lesson 1 of our COURAGE Unit into your classroom (or remote instruction environment) and experience the transformative power of this program for yourself.
Choose Love has had an immediate and positive impact on our school community. After a comprehensive review of available SEL approaches, our team unanimously selected ‘Choose Love’ for its approach, alignment, and vision to support the social/emotional learning and well being of our students and staff. It has been wonderful to see how quickly ‘Choose Love’ has been embraced by our schools and our community. Scarlett provided a moving Keynote address at our Convocation, which sparked our initial efforts. We are so grateful for this partnership and the benefits ‘Choose Love’ will bring to our students.
I love everything about the Choose Love program! I have seen such a positive impact on our entire school culture after implementing Choose Love over the last two years. Even our youngest students are able to identify feelings and use brave breaths to calm and regulate themselves. They are engaged and participate in all the lessons and there is a common vocabulary among all students and teachers. We see students thinking of others and reaching out with compassion to help peers. There is just a feeling of family and love on our school campus and that is beginning to extend beyond our building as well!

This book captures the thoughts, feelings, emotions, and views of four men. Men from different backgrounds and circumstances who find themselves connected through their stories; their lives within the prison system. This book is a collective display of their artistry; the canvas for their voices, both separate and united, on their pasts, present and futures. It amplifies and sheds light on the encumbrance their sentences bear on their lives, the lives of their loved ones, and the world around us.
