Grace Yoon...
Is a 12 year old from New Jersey and is currently a seventh grader at the Horace Mann School, an independent, college-preparatory school in Riverdale, New York.
Grace is passionate in music and plays the bassoon in the Pre-College Division of the Mannes New School of Music. Attendant to her academic and musical endeavors, Grace is an active mental health advocate and has given a Ted Talk on the topic. Through her talk, she was introduced the Choose Love and was exhorted to join the Youth Ambassador group.
Although there is no, one elixir to cure mental illness, Grace strongly encourages Social Emotional Learning and aims to introduce Choose Love’s SEL program to as many classrooms as possible, to improve student and teen mental health.
