(December 14, 2022) – Bloomberg Businessweek named Scarlett Lewis, founder of the Choose Love Movement, to the 2022 Bloomberg 50, its annual list of innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders who have changed the global business landscape over the past year. The list will be published in the December 26 issue of Bloomberg Businessweek.
An unranked list, the Bloomberg 50 represents the most influential thought leaders in business, finance, politics, entertainment, science, and technology whose 2022 accomplishments were particularly noteworthy.
In August Lewis stood up to conspiracy theorist, Alex Jones, in court, and forgave him for claiming the Sandy Hook shooting was staged.
Scarlett Lewis has been been a leading figure in national efforts to reduce violence since her son was killed in the Sandy Hook school shooting ten years ago. Her non-profit organization provides character social emotional development programs that are free for schools to use. Choose Love programs have reached over 3 million students and Lewis aspires to reach 25 million by 2025.
